Democratic MP Flamur Noka, said after today’s meeting of the Security Council that the fact that the TIMS and Memex systems were hacked is now confirmed, thus seriously compromising our national security.
“It all revolves around the fact that Albanians should not be informed and should not know what happened with the cyber-attacks. The commanding director of the Service, among other things, has not said anything that is secret. Albania’s digital systems have been hacked for 14 months. It was confirmed that the TIMS and Memex systems of the police have been hacked, which seriously compromises national security. It was confirmed 14 months ago that not only Iranian, but also Russian and Serbian hackers have control over the data”, said Noka.
He further underlined that government hackers have intervened to destroy data.
“Our request was this, that as long as the systems have been hacked and as long as the enemies of the country have everything that is secret and not secret, why should the Albanians not know what happened? “Government hackers also intervened in the police systems to remove data,” he said further.
