Journalist Bledi Fevziu, based on the last interview he conducted with the US ambassador in Tirana Yuri Kim, stated that Americans were critical when it comes to the issue of organized crime and favoritism to crime.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, the journalist emphasized that it is organized crime that first finances politics and then politics that finances organized crime through public money.

According to Fevziu, this method has been a failure for many countries, while adding that a country can never develop with crime money.

“Americans were very critical on the issue of money, organized crime, and favoritism to crime. It is an old philosophy of diplomats and internationals, who claim that crime money comes first as a benefit to the country, then these people who throw this money to power the economy become businessmen themselves and then go and get state tenders.

It is organized crime that first finances politics, then it is politics that finances organized crime with public money. This has been a failure in many countries. There is never prosperity and well-being with the money of crime, there is never development with the money of crime,” said Fevziu
