The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has revealed the two main reasons, which according to him, led to the defeat of this political force in the elections of April 25, 2021.
In a statement to the press from DP’s headquarters, Berisha stated that the pseudo-leadership in the Democratic Party and the hostility of Prime Minister Edi Rama brought about this defeat.
Berisha underlined that right now the opposition is more real than ever in its existence and determined to walk confidently toward victory.
“I think that the opposition lost the April 25 elections for two major reasons, its pseudo leadership and Edi Rama’s hostility towards the vote. If it were not for these two, the opposition would be in power right now. Edi Rama’s hostility to the vote persists, but today the opposition is truer than ever, more powerful than ever, and is determined to walk confidently towards victory”, said Berisha.
