The former member of the Democratic Party, Lajla Pernaska, declared that the right must come up with a single candidate for Tirana, in the upcoming local elections.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Pernaska said that the candidate must be representative of the right and have high moral integrity.

“I think that the right needs to come up with a single candidate and be unified more than ever. I see a very high expectation of the citizens of Tirana to make a change to the city. Tirana suffers from major problems. I am attentive, I am in an intense relationship with residents, even in my neighborhood where we meet and talk; names have been circulating.

I will support the candidacy that the majority of Democrats will. I expect to deal with a candidate that is representative of the right, has high moral integrity and the maximum sense of responsibility”, she said during a live interview for Euronews Albania.
