The Socialist MP Etjen Xhafaj said in an interview for Euronews Albania that the Socialist Party will not reveal its list of names of the candidates for mayor as of yet.
In addition, he also underlined that they are still in the discussion phase and that a few names of possible candidates have been communicated already by the head of the SP and Prime Minister Edi Rama.
“This is a discussion process. We constantly have leadership meetings where we are discussing and determining first what the necessary criteria for these candidates will be. In addition, we are also analyzing the work done by the current mayors during their term. We will not be publishing an official list of specific names yet, although some of the names have already been communicated by the chairman of the Socialist Party and Prime Minister Edi Rama”, said the Socialist MP.
