Ambassador Yuri Kim made a statement on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Constitutional Court.
According to her, the reforms of 2016 have influenced this institution to improve its work. Currently, the ambassador says that the Justice Reform is moving forward and is producing feasible results. The time of judges being bribed and threatened is over, according to Kim.
“I tell you stop; the time for making phone calls to send emissaries, gifts and threats, threatening to expose dark secrets from the past form the basis for another dark secret, that time is over. This time is over. You have filled your pockets and your children’s. Stop it! Albanian citizens must believe that there is justice in Albania, that there is a brighter future,” said the ambassador.
Yuri Kim called on everyone to focus on doing their job properly and allow Albanians to regain their trust in the justice system.
