Euronews Albania journalist Ortensa Budlla was present at the hair donation campaign within the framework of October, the pink month.

Emili, the 10-year-old present at the event, said that she has been growing her hair for 3 years in order to join the initiative to donate her hair in order to help women suffering from breast cancer.

“I don’t have any reason, except my mom who told me that we should cut them for those who really need their hair,” said the girl.

She said that she is not sorry that she is cutting her hair, but she has a lot of emotions and her mother has taken care of her hair.

Emili added that after donating his hair today, he will take care to grow it again in order to donate it for a second time.
