The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, declared that nothing can stop the opposition from winning the upcoming local elections on May 14.

Regarding the statement of the group of Enkelejd Alibeaj, where it is said that the negotiations for the merger had failed, Berisha told the media outside the party’s headquarters, that the statute of the DP had to be respected.

“The statute is beyond any imagination, competence to be kicked. It is the basic document of the Democratic Party, when it was before the alternative, to be or not to be, and it is its foundation on which this political force is built, stronger than ever and more powerful than any other political force.

It is this statute that constitutes the foundation of the victory in the May 14 elections, but before that, the historical lectures that Edi Rama’s clique, or let’s say, Edi Rama’s band of thieves, will receive from Albanian citizens. The opposition cannot be hindered by anything to sign the victory in these elections”, stressed the chief democrat.
