The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, held a telephone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Italy, Antonio Tajani.
Vucic explained to the Italian official, Belgrade’s position regarding the recent development of the situation in Kosovo, writes Euronews Serbia.
He said that Serbia will behave seriously and responsibly, respecting its obligations and determination to maintain peace and stability, which Prishtina threatens with its unilateral acts and actions, announced the Presidency.
“The last such irresponsible step of Prishtina caused the anger of Serbs from the north of Kosovo”, emphasized Vucic.
The Serbs held a rally this Sunday in the north of Mitrovica, where they sang nationalist songs and the anthem of Serbia.
The chairman of the Serbian List, Goran Rakic, declared that the Serbs, through their resignations from Kosovo’s institutions, are defending the Brussels agreement.
