The Democratic Party, through a statement a few minutes before the official schedule for the protest, has announced that thousands of citizens from all over Albania will join today’s rally, while they also shared images of citizens from Shkodra, who are heading towards Tirana.

This Saturday, at 16:00, a national opposition protest will be held in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.

In order to keep things under control during the protest, about 1.000 police officers will be on standby, while some road axes will be closed from 15:00 onwards. 

The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, and other democratic functionaries have not ruled out any scenarios for today’s protest.
