Democratic MP Luciano Boci, during his speech at the opposition protest, said that we should remove Prime Minister Edi Rama from the government.
“I know your anger, that’s why we are here today, that’s why we will have a torch in our march. Dear citizens, all of Albania is looking at you today. Together, let’s continue our battle, let’s defeat them in the battle that has now begun. Together, let’s tear down the armor of the gates that have imprisoned our freedom, our dreams, and behind the shutters of the prison let’s put what deserves to be hidden behind the windows and behind the men and women that are fleeing the country for a better life abroad. The confidence of the Democratic Party is great. This is a civic mission”, said Boci.
The opposition protest started just a few minutes ago. The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, and the head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, are standing next to each other.
So far, no incident has been reported in the protest, while the turnout is quite high.
