Democratic MP Enkelejd Alibeaj said during the meeting of the Law Commission that all former owners should be compensated with 100 % of their property’s value.

Alibeaj also threw accusations at the Rama administration, underlining that citizens are drowning in procedures and end up in trials for their properties.

“You have done a very simple thing that actually shows the approach that SP has had to the property return process. Don’t give anything away! To drown in endless procedures, to die in trials, to keep going and languish in courts. If you want, I will tell you one more thing, you also had a part of the fault in the DP. All the suffering, all the suffering, today you tell Albanians that you convert them with 1/10, with only 10%?
