The director of the Office for Kosovo, Petar Petkovic, has announced that the signing of the employment contract with the Serbs removed from the institutions in the north of the Republic of Kosovo will begin today, writes Euronews Serbia.
“We are fulfilling another important promise of President Vucic and the government. Today begins the signing of contracts with all those Serbs who have left the institutions of Prishtina in the north of Kosovo, and this means that they will receive their first salary in the Serbian system for the month of November at the beginning of December, and then continue with it their income every next month,” Petkovic told reporters at the Palace of Serbia.
The Serbs who were employed by Kosovo’s institutions were left dissatisfied due to the implementation of the regulations for the re-registration of vehicles and the non-formation of the Union of Serbian Municipalities. Among them, there are judges, policemen, customs officers, as well as deputies who were employed in the institutions of Prishtina.
