“Voice in the desert”. This is how lawyer Spartak Ngjela described the opposition’s refusal of the construction of the Port of Durres.
“Who’s even asking for their opinion? This is a legal matter. Whoever has the majority in parliament decides on this; what will they do? Secondly, this port is a very great added value for Albania,” Ngjela said.
According to him, it is absolutely ignorant to seek competition in such a large project.
Moreover, Ngjela emphasized that the port is an exclusive choice of the Albanian parliament.
He is of the opinion that with the port will come great development for Albania.
“It is a fate for Albania, it will have a very big impact on Albania’s GDP and immediately after that, you will see that there will be an increase in salaries and actions. It is a very big thing, it must be realized,” the lawyer declared.
Meanwhile, when asked by journalist Sidorela Gjoni if the opposition would not have the power to stop this project, Ngjela answered: “Where does Moscow have power in Tirana?”
