Vucic after the meeting with Kurti: Absolutely no agreement with Prishtina

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said that in the talks with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, no agreement was reached on the license plate issue.

“For unclear reasons, we have reached absolutely no agreement,” said Vucic after several hours of talks on Monday in Brussels.

“I don’t think that any tragedy has happened, but, of course, it will not be an easy period”, said Vucic, adding that Serbia “will stand by the Serbian people” in Kosovo.

He warned that this week he will address the Serbian public.

In Brussels, the joint meeting between the chief European diplomat, Josep Borrell, with the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has ended.

The meeting was held at the invitation of the European chief diplomat, Josep Borrell, and started around 10:00. Initially, Borrell held separate meetings with Prime Minister Kurti and President Vucic.
