MP Petrit Vasili has been expelled from Parliament for the next 5 days after he addressed insulting words to the head of SP’s Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla.

This decision was made by the Secretariat for Procedures, Voting, and Ethics under the direction of Klotilda Bushka.

“In the implementation of article 63 point ç and article 65/1 of the Regulation of the Albanian Parliament, the Secretariat decided with 3 votes in favor, to take the disciplinary measure: “Exemption from participation in committees and in the plenary session for 5 (five) days” for the MP Mr. Petrit Vasili” – the announcement states.

Vasili clashed with Balla regarding the article that determines the minutes to speak in parliament for each MP.

The Freedom Party MP turned on Balla with more insults suggesting that the latter reads the regulation better.

Vasili: Stop lying to the citizens. Article 28 does not say that.

Balla: Read it, read it well.

Vasili: You’re schizophrenic, let us read, don’t act like an idiot!
