The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, during a meeting with PL structures in Korca, said that the government even though we’re in times of a global crisis, is increasing taxes for freelancers.

He further added that 1.5 million euros will be the state’s payment for the debt from the budget that will be approved today.

Meta issued accusations against the government, saying that the latter only knows how to steal.

“At the height of a crisis, it also increases taxes for freelancers. This is the moment to tax professionals when we cannot support them. 17 million euros benefit the budget. What these people know is to only take on debt to steal for themselves. 1.5 million euros in debt will be paid by the state from the budget that was approved today. At the height of the crisis, they passed with only one company on that Lekaj road in the direction of Fier, 7 million euros per kilometer when it’s only 2 million euros per kilometer in France. Who do these people ask when they take on debt? Who will pay for it They want to steal, humiliate you, and force you to applaud them. This is their respect for the citizens, for the homeland, and you know this!” said Meta.
