The famous Albanian singer Dua Lipa has responded to criticism for the post she made on social networks, where she presented the indigenous flag.
In a press conference, shortly before the start of the festival in “Skanderbeg” square in the framework of the 110th anniversary of Independence, Lipa emphasized that the post was not made for nationalism.
“The post was not made for any nationalism, it was simply important that we as Albanians have the right to be proud of being Albanians. There are many people who want to make us feel like someone we are not. I had no intention to insult anyone, to have a debate because it was not a very good reaction to me, but I decided to stay with the opinion I had”, said Lipa.
