Serbian President Aleksander Vucic said during the press conference with the Commissioner for Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi, that he does not regret any statement he made in recent days on the issue of Kosovo or even on the decision on the summit.
“I also told him, I am neither crazy, nor drunk, nor stupid, but I told him everything that has happened since the beginning of the year and how any kind of possibility for a normal conversation with Prishtina is gradually collapsing. Should I have used more diplomatic language? Maybe, but please listen to me and tell me if anyone would have listened to us if we hadn’t performed differently,” he said.
Vucic added that the Serbs in the north of Kosovo will no longer suffer the terror of Albin Kurti.
“If this was a way for them to listen to me, at least I have done something good for the people and the country,” said Vucic.
Meanwhile, the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi, said that it is very important that the Serbian president, Aleksander Vucic, be present at the December 6 summit in Tirana.
Recently, Vucic has called the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, a terrorist.
A day earlier, he also said that no one from Serbia will be in Tirana at the EU-Western Balkans Summit on December 6, due to what he said was the EU’s “shameful” reaction to Nenad Rashic’s appointment. as a minister in the Government of Kosovo.
