Romanian President Klaus Iohannis is participating in the European Union – Western Balkans Summit and arrived in Tirana on December 5.
“The high-level meeting will be a new opportunity to reiterate the mutual commitments between the European Union and the Western Balkans for the European integration process, as well as the advancement of political cooperation in the framework of managing the consequences of the war in Ukraine. Officials of international financial institutions will also participate in the summit meeting”, says the Presidential Administration.
Iohannis will present Romania’s position on supporting the advancement of the European Union enlargement process based on the merits of the candidates.
