“The people of the opposition, the people of victory. Down with Edi Rama! Down with the criminals and thugs! We will triumph. Long live the Albanian opposition, north and south we are together to protest against the regime of villains and criminals! Forever may you be honored, all of you who are present in today’s protest”, said Berisha.
Berisha reacted harshly after being hit by a citizen while marching towards the boulevard, saying “Down with Edi Rama”.
“The people of the opposition, the people of victory. Down Edi Rama. Down with the criminals, we will triumph. Long live the Albanian opposition, north-south who are together to protest against the regime of villains and criminals. May you be honored forever, o’ people of the protest”, said Berisha.
A citizen attacked Berisha at noon today, while he was walking alongside Ilir Meta toward “Deshmoret e Kombit” boulevard to participate in the opposition’s protest.
Euronews Albania has learned that the citizen punched Berisha in the face and as a result, the chief democrat suffered minor bleeding. The situation in the protest is currently tense, as supporters and sympathizers of the DP have physically attacked the aggressor.
