Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his speech at the Brussels summit, said that the Russian influence is real in the region and that the Balkans must stay together in face of such danger.
The head of the Albanian government also underlined that Serbia is also involved, but has not imposed sanctions against Russia yet.
Rama’s full remarks:
If you invite people from the Balkans, you should give them time to talk endlessly. Everyone can leave in the end, we’ll still be talking, because freedom of speech was so forbidden where we come from, we come from actual hell. You can’t imagine that hell.
What Abazi said has to do with weaknesses, and vulnerabilities, in their countries the Russian influence is present and the Russian danger is real. In Albania, no one cares about Russia anymore because they had Stalin until 1990.
