In an interview for Euronews Albania, the Minister of Agriculture Frida Krifca clarified who can benefit from the IPARD III program.

According to Krifca, this project comes this time with a fund of 146 million euros.

She further clarified that groups of farmers will also be given the opportunity to receive financing up to 100%.

“We have moved very quickly with the preparation of the IPARD III program. It is not a continuity of what has happened, you have to do some administrative processes and sectoral agreements, which we have carried out in record time. Very soon we will bring the sectoral agreement approved by the European Union to the parliament. Then we are ready to open the calls for this program, which comes with a fund of 146 million euros, almost 52% more than the budget of the IPARD 2 program. We have brought to the commission the request to approve other measures, opening the possibility of application for farmers, groups of farmers, or even different associations. A group of farmers who have a strategy can also apply and receive grants with up to 100% funding. It is applied to an idea a concept, with a business plan. The Agency for Agricultural Development is the agency accredited by the EC to carry out the entire process”, she said.
