Artist, Bled Jackal is the initiator of a protest with the slogan “Mitrovica is Albania”, which will take place the next day in front of the Serbian embassy in Tirana.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Jackal said that official Tirana did not support North Mitrovica enough and hasn’t reacted as much as it should about the current situation.

“It has more to do with the national issue. In general, the agreements in the history of Albania have been made to the detriment of Albania. We are not against agreements, but Tirana should also raise its voice. I have said a lot about the territories outside Albania and Kosovo, we see us as a very big support. At first, it was something personal, then I saw the reaction and they were supporting me. The Serbs have the biggest support from Belgrade, not from North Mitrovica. There is not much support or strong reaction from Tirana”, he claimed.
