The former Democratic Party MP, Myslim Murrizi, said that Albanian politics has always been inferior to the Greek leadership in discussing important issues such as the one of Chameria. 

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Murrizi said that both parties that have had power in Albania have served Greece, in one way or another.

“We had political elites who were slavish and servile, they were inferior to the Greek leadership and continue to suck up to them; this is true when the SP was in power and even when the DP was in power. Each side could sit at the table and discuss the issue of Chameria. These politicians of ours don’t even need to be bought, everything is a matter of inferiority. Albanian governments do not come from the galaxy, they are elected by the people. We have had the same individuals for the past 32 years,” Murrizi said.
