Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the resignation of Helidon Bendo, head of SHISH.

In a post on social media, Rama states that Bendo has submitted his resignation due to the continuation of his postgraduate studies at the College of International and Security Studies, at the National Defense University in the United States.

Rama emphasized that he will be engaged in the future as an adviser to the prime minister for the reform of security institutions.

“With Helidon Bendon, the Director of the State Intelligence Service, who, due to continuing his postgraduate studies at the College of International and Security Studies, at the National Defense University in the United States, has submitted his resignation. He will be engaged in the future as an adviser to the prime minister for the reform of security institutions”, said Rama.
