Journalist Glidona Daci says that the year 2023 will be scary in terms of high officials who have broken the law.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Daci said that the Sterilization files and the Check-up files, which are nearing completion, are expected to ‘bring down’ many well-known political figures.

“We have the sterilization files which are nearing completion and are expected to ‘burn’ many well-known political figures. Then there’s also what’s known as the Check-up files. In regards to the sterilization files, I have a full guarantee that very soon we will have new developments. Maybe they are just letting these people enjoy the new year comfortably and they will give an account before justice when the time comes. These files, both related to the Ministry of Justice, are a big scandal that led to the blocking of operations since they couldn’t sterilize hospital equipment. Even based on the files that have been made public and investigations that we have been able to provide, they are undoubtedly expected to ‘bring down’ some well-known political figures”, said the journalist.
