The Albanian national football team continues to remain without a coach, but the work in the Albanian Football Federation continues, as sources close to the team indicate that the next manager will not be of Italian descent.
Among other things, Euronews Albania has learned that this position will be divided between two names, Esteban Cambiaso and Reinaldo Rueda.
Despite the great desire to see an Albanian coach at the head of the bench, this thesis is also rejected.
Criticisms of the football association in the country have been such, that a proper coach should be one who knows the language well, as well as the country, and one who has a deeply rooted desire to bring the team forward.
However, odds are that even this time around, this wish will not be fulfilled.
But who are Reinaldo Rueda and Esteban Cambiaso?
Rueda is 65 years old and has a busy training career spanning nearly 3 decades. The last team managed by him is that of his home country, Colombia, while he was also the coach of Chile and Ecuador.
On the other hand, Esteban Cambiaso, a former player of Inter, Real Madrid, Leister, but still without any real experience as a coach. The 42-year-old has been an assistant coach for the Colombian team.
