Journalist Bardh Sejdarasi says that 2022 was a difficult year for Albania, as far as the economic aspect is concerned.

In an interview for “Now with Erla Mehilli” on Euronews Albania, Sejdarasi said that the Russian aggression in Ukraine and the increase in the price of energy influenced the economic crisis.

“Yes, 2022 was a difficult year, economically it was also a difficult year, there were several reasons and several factors as to why it was so difficult. It was a difficult year for all Albanian families, if you have the level of income that we have as a society. It is also a difficult year for businesses if you consider the increased costs, which came from many factors, one of the most important factors being the Russian aggression in Ukraine. It was a difficult year because crises of this nature affect the whole world, not only Albania. The crisis appeared for the first time in October-November 2021, because exactly at that time, the effects from the increase in the price of energy were the effects that would necessarily appear in products and services because all sectors are connected to and influenced by energy”, he emphasized.
