Analyst Andi Bushati claimed that Prime Minister Edi Rama will commit an electoral massacre in the upcoming local elections on May 14, 2023.

During Euronews Albania’s ‘NOW with Erla Mehilli’, Bushati said that in the face of an electoral massacre, just like Lulzim Basha, the chief democrat Sali Berisha will once again remain powerless.

“One of Sali Berisha’s strongest accusations against Basha was that he did not know how to win against Rama. Sali Berisha, intentionally or unintentionally, conceived the idea that he knows how to defeat Rama. Lulzim Basha was defeated by Rama as a result of his weaknesses, and his bargains. But, May 14 will come very soon and Rama will make a new massacre. Many oppositionists will understand that in the face of Rama’s massacre, Berisha, just like Basha, will be equally powerless. In this sense, Basha will be stripped of the myth of the electoral ‘loser’, which he has been attacked with for so long. A new fable could be built on top of this”, he argued.
