Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that soldiers and non-commissioned officers of the army will benefit from 20,000 ALL from the Great Package of economic aid.

Through a post on social media, the head of government said that this aid will be given as support for coping with the increase in prices caused by the war in Ukraine.

Rama also underlined that the help for soldiers and non-commissioned officers comes as they are the personnel in the ranks of the army who have the lowest salaries.

“20,000 ALL from the Great Package will be distributed to soldiers and non-commissioned officers who, despite the significant increase in salaries this year for all our soldiers, are the ones who are paid less than others in the Armed Forces and thus we will help their families by reducing the impact of war inflation in this difficult period for everyone”, wrote Rama on Facebook.
