Lawyer Mustafa Llani has revealed a few ways through which citizens can distinguish which sites are safer for online shopping.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, he underlined that credit cards are safer than debit cards when shopping online.

This is distinguished from the first element which is when we click the URL. If the page has a URL that starts with HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure), this makes the page SSL-enabled, the moment you communicate with the URL, encryption begins between the server and the client. The relationship here is safer for you to shop. We should also be interested in the website, that is, what platform it uses, what company it is represented by, and how it is registered. Credit cards are more secure than debit cards when shopping online. The best way is to use Paypal”, he emphasized.
