The EU Special Envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, and the US Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, met today with the Deputy Secretary General of NATO, Mircea Geoana, with whom, among other things, they talked about finding a solution between Kosovo and Serbia.

“Peace and stability in the Western Balkans are important for all Europeans. The US, our NATO allies, and the EU are committed to working with Serbia and Kosovo to find a solution and a way forward in the interest of stability, security, and well-being of all communities,” a mission statement said.

As previously announced on the NATO website, Escobar and Lajcak will both participate in the informal meeting of the North Atlantic Council.
