The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that Kosovo wants to achieve a normalization of relations with Serbia, but the latter, according to him, is moving increasingly away from normality.

Kurti also said that Serbia rejected what is known as the Franco-German plan at a time when according to him, everyone should have taken it into consideration since the government of Kosovo considered it a good basis for discussion.

A day before the senior advisor of the U.S. Department of State, Derek Chollet, arrives in Kosovo, the Prime Minister of Kosovo said that his visit is more than welcome and that according to him, he is coming at an important moment when the one-year mark since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine slowly approaches. Kurti also noted that the military aggression there has also had consequences in the Western Balkan region, arguing that Serbia has not imposed any sanctions on Russia but has rather made an agreement with them.
