Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Agron Gjekmarkaj, has reacted exclusively to “NOW with Erla Mehilli” regarding the expulsion of 4 democratic MPs.

“I don’t understand anything for months! It’s human not to understand. I lack all rational instruments of definition for this political climate. I have made an internal decision that maybe I should formalize and externally explain only my actions and not others’ words or silence. For a long time, irrationality, ego, intrigue, ferocity have been pouring in from all sides. Sodom and Gomorrah appear before my eyes in all their gloom. In the ‘Iliad’, the epitaph is a verse: Why do you run to die, you wretch? Everyone should read it, it applies to all those who love life”.

After reading this reaction, Erla Mehilli said that most likely Gjekmarkaj will emerge as an independent MP, that is, outside the parliamentary group.
