Prime Minister Edi Rama has published a video of the works being carried out for the Gjirokastra Bypass.

Through a post on social media, Rama stated that this work is already taking shape and is expected to be completed in the spring of this year.

“The long-awaited and promised Bypass of Gjirokastra is taking its final form, which in spring 2023 will give the heart of the city a new life, removing cars, reducing pollution, and guaranteeing the movement of pedestrians in the entire museum area, but also releasing new potentials for the development of tourism that grows year after year”, wrote Rama on Facebook.
