The head of the Parliamentary Group of the SP, Taulant Balla, has stated that Parliament won’t take into consideration any of the requests made by the head of the DP, Sali Berisha. 

In addition, he said that the demands bearing Berisha’s signature will not be considered by the majority.

“Any kind of request that comes to the Parliament of Albania and is written by a person who has been declared non grata by the USA, that request and that letter won’t be taken into account. In the formal aspect, the request cannot be examined by us as long as the signature of this person is found. I rejected Simion Miraka only because he was signed by Berisha. The truth is that Berisha was formally rejected. The conference of presidents examines the formal aspect. In December 2022, the Constitutional Courts gave the right to the majority on another decision it had made for the investigative commission,” said Balla.
