Journalist, Aida Topalli, revealed during an interview for Euronews, what the prices are for providing prostitution in salons and massage centers in Tirana.
Topalli said that the maximum fees go up to 85 euros (10,000 ALL), while these services can be offered at a lower price too.
In addition, she added that 80% of this amount goes to the owner of the massage parlor, while the girl who sells her body only receives around 20% of the value of her service.
“The price does not exceed 10,000 ALL for this kind of service. That’s the maximum, then we have cheaper rates. The girls get 20% of the fee given by the client. I don’t know about the salary part, but for the extra service being provided she gets 20%, while 80% goes to the owner of the massage parlor. And normally, it seems like they’re completely fine with this. This starts from the personal culture that an individual has, and here we move into the social part as well. This is how these people have been raised and educated, maybe it’s family culture, maybe they are not used to achieving things by themselves in life and think that this is the best way to achieve something and make so much money. The owners manage to get rich, while the girls who work in the massage salons don’t, since the biggest cut goes to the owner”, said the journalist.
