The Prime Minister of the country, Albin Kurti, has stated that the meetings in Brussels should be held every month while talking about Kosovo’s dialogue with Serbia.

In an interview with the press, he said that last year they agreed with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic that they would meet every month, but that this has not happened.

“On August 18 of last year, we agreed in Brussels that we would meet every month. In September, this did not happen, but the Franco-German proposal came, which we call the European Union proposal supported by France and Germany, and there was no meeting until November 21,” said Kurti.

The head of government also said that he believes that they should have held more frequent meetings because at this point, disagreement is high and trust is low.

“However, I hope that this year there will be a greater commitment from the international community, especially the European Union and the United States of America, in order to put more pressure on Belgrade,” said Kurti.
