The Directorate for Protection and Rescue in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Montenegro sent a warning to all participants in the protection and rescue system and emphasized the need to increase operational readiness due to the predicted storm that is expected in the coming days in this region.

The warning was sent based on information from the Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology (ZHMS) in order to act in time, due to the forewarned extreme meteorological phenomena.

Due to the impact of the cyclone and the strong south-southwest air flow, a significant increase in sea level, strong and turbulent sea waves, and local water problems along the coast are expected in the south of the Adriatic.
