Deputy Minister of the Interior, Julian Hodaj, said in an interview for Euronews Albania that the Socialist Party doesn’t even count Belind Kellici in the race for mayor of Tirana against Erion Veliaj in the upcoming local elections.

According to him, the current mayor of Tirana will win another well-deserved 4-year mandate, for the work he has done so far and future projects that are underway in the capital.

“The Socialist Party is the biggest political force in the country and it is a big team and a big team that has maximum respect for opponents because it appreciates whatever level the opponent is, but it focuses on itself. So, it always has a battle with itself. This is what SP does periodically in every election. It observes, analyzes itself, and sees the aspects where it can improve,” said Hodaj.
