The bad weather that has covered the bay of Durres since Monday has brought quite a few problems.
Cruise companies have announced postponements and suspensions of cruises from the port of Durres to the Italian coast and vice versa.
After being suspended on Tuesday evening, only 2 ferries have resumed sailing this Wednesday.
Scheduled to leave Durres at 8:00 am, “Rigel VII” was able to leave but with a few hours delay.
Meanwhile, the ferry “Rigel III” left around 3:00 am from the port of Bari and docked at the quay of the port of Durres at noon.
The departure from Ancona with the “AF CLAUDIA” ferry has been postponed by 2 days, after the forecast to depart on the 19th, while the “AF MARINA” is expected to depart this Wednesday evening.
Problems have not been absent in the city either. The promenade “Taulantia” has returned to its permanent panorama, every time the city is engulfed by storms.
Sea waves have reached a height of 1.8 – 3 m these days, while the wind speed since Monday reached up to 25 m/s.
