SPAK sends the judge of Elbasan, Zamira Vyshka, for trial

The Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPAK) has sent the judge of Elbasan, Zamira Vyshka, the lawyer Ilir Pashaj and several other defendants, to the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO).

The request comes a few days after SPAK completed its investigations.

Vyshka will face justice for the charge, “Passive corruption of the judge, prosecutor and other justice officials”, in collaboration.

It is suspected that she negotiated with family members of an arrested person, Xjulio Musaj, to ease his criminal position.

According to the investigations started in 2021, the judge initially requested 2 million ALL, but then increased the request to 4 million.

The other defendants, Ilir Pashaj (lawyer), Taulant Ramollari and Xjulio Musaj, are accused of committing the criminal offense of “Active corruption of the judge, prosecutor and other justice officials”, committed in collaboration, while Andrea Tirana, for committing the criminal offense of “Decriminalization of crime”.
