Defense Minister Niko Peleshi participated in the meeting of the Contact Group for the Defense of Ukraine that took place at the Air Base in Ramstein, Germany on January 20, 2023.

Through a post on his Facebook page, Peleshi states that Albania joins the military support with another significant donation package.

“With the Ukrainian Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov, at the meeting of the Contact Group for Ukraine, called by the Secretary of Defense of the USA Mr. Lloyd J. Austin III, where Albania joins the military support with another substantial donation package. “Unified, on the side of the people of Ukraine, who are standing firm in the name of freedom in the face of an unjustifiable aggression,” writes Peleshi.
