The MP of the Freedom Party, Monika Kryemadhi, called on the government to stop payments to the Tirana incinerator, whose owners are currently being sought by the police.

In a statement to the media this Friday, Kryemadhi stated that citizens pay 29 euros for the processing of 1 ton of trash, of which 15 euros are stolen through the incinerator scheme.

“I call on every citizen who is part of the government, administration, municipality and the justice system who pays 29 euros ton every day, where 15 euros are stolen from them. The least they can do for their political and legal human morality is to stop the payments. These 54 million dollars go to a company whose owners are wanted by Albanian justice”, said Kryemadhi
