The Albanian Road Authority has reported on the situation of the roads due to the deterioration of the weather in our country.

According to the information provided, during the night and in the early hours of the morning, the intensity of the rains decreased and therefore the situation considerably calmed down.

ARRSH confirms that the roads are open and traffic is carried out without problems.

On the Qafe Thore-Theth axis, in the area of ​​the tunnels, avalanches continue, causing difficulties for the equipment and workers to clear the road. Snow density is over 1 m.

Contractors and workers are on the ground to maintain normal traffic, the announcement states.

ARRSH warns drivers to take extra care when driving in rainy weather, to be equipped with winter tires and chains when traveling to mountainous areas, to reduce speed, and to respect the traffic signs and instructions of the Traffic Police as well.
