A coalition agreement for the local elections between the Democratic Party and the Union Party for Human Rights, PBDNJ, was signed this Wednesday.

In the speech held during the meeting with the head of the PBDNJ Vangjel Dule, the head of the DP Sali Berisha emphasized that this agreement is a union of forces to face and overthrow the monist regime of Prime Minister Rama.

According to the agreement, DP is expected to give PBDNJ the determination of candidates for the municipality of Himara, Finiq and Dropulli.

“I express my satisfaction and that of the DP for this agreement with an early ally of the DP, with which we decide to fight a common battle against the complete monism, established by the most corrupt regime in Europe and the world, the regime of Edi Rama.

Overturning this monism is the absolute priority of every free citizen, of every oppositionist and in this context, we, together with PBDNJ, OMONIA, join forces with the belief that on May 14 we will deal a fatal blow to the monist system.

On the other hand, we intend to return the municipalities to Albanian citizens. Let’s return municipalities to the common homes of Albanian citizens. The first citizens of these municipalities have full awareness, full responsibility, and full readiness to function as servants of these citizens. To use in the most transparent and honest way all the human and material, financial, resources of the municipality, to exploit all the great potentials that every municipality has today in Albania, first in the best interest of the citizens of those municipalities. I, thanking Mr. Dule for the understanding and the agreement we signed, express my conviction that we have marked a very important step in the realization of our common objectives”, said Berisha.
