Journalist Lirim Mehmetaj has shared details about the meeting that will take place at the US Embassy in Kosovo regarding the association.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, he said that there will be politicians, media, and civil society groups as well as members of the opposition at the meeting.

He further emphasized that efforts are being made to create the idea of ​​national consensus.

“The embassy has invited anyone who is willing to go there because they want to create the idea of ​​national consensus. It is not the government of Kosovo that is accepting the association, but it is Kosovo and the entire political spectrum that is pro-association and thus the responsibility is distributed. There is civil society and I believe that there will also be people from the media because the creation of the ‘propaganda spider’ is needed. All opposition parties have been invited as well. Kurti won’t be there. I would be very happy for someone to say yes, I have accepted it and these are the reasons. What is being attempted is to get everyone in, and it is very irrelevant how the fight will be done inside,” he said.
