In The Hague, where the seat of the Special Court is located, there will be a protest on March 1.

It is the Albanians of the diaspora who, under the motto “For the KLA, truth and justice”, will gather to give their support to the former leaders of the KLA.

The organizers of the protest have called for the gathering to be massive and the protest to take place peacefully on the day of the start of the trial against Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Vesel, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selim.

Diaspora Albanians are expressing their dissatisfaction with the processes taking place near the Specialized Chambers of Kosovo in The Hague.

According to them, the former leaders of the KLA are facing a political process, writes KosovaPress.

They do not oppose the court, but call on it to bring justice to the former members of the Kosovo Liberation Army who are being tried there.

A permit to organize the protest has already been secured by the Dutch authorities and citizens are expected to gather in the street “Laan van Reagan en Gorbachev”, Den Haag, on Wednesday March 1 from 10:00 to 12:00.
