Prime Minister Edi Rama received the Prime Minister of Bavaria, Markus Söder, in a meeting today, with whom he also signed a bilateral agreement.

At the joint press conference, Rama said that during the meeting three basic things were discussed, the opening of an office of Bavaria in Tirana for the development of entrepreneurship, the opening of a house of Bavarian culture and the support of young people.

“The agreement we signed paves the way for the things we will do together. Bavaria is today a home for an important Albanian community, there are 10 thousand Albanians who are contributors to the country’s economy. With the prime minister, we were also talking about a digital revolution that he has started in his country, which also coincides with our ambition to advance the digital transformation of Albania. I will say three things at the end. The Prime Minister came here with representatives of business and the desire to open a Bavarian office to develop business in Tirana, which will serve to absorb more investments. We talked about opening a house of Bavarian culture in Tirana, an idea that he liked very much. We also talked about supporting young people more”, said Rama.
